Founded in 1992, The Maru Consortium is a technology consulting firm based in Basel, Switzerland. The firm was among the first to bring global networking to high end engineering systems. As an AT&T VAR, the firm built the first enterprise wide net work for Parsons and Whitemore of the UK.

In the Fall of 2002, The Consortium began looking at additional technology ventures and in January, 2003, founded NyghtFalcon with Falcon.
